Clearing debris from between casing stones and core where possible to uncover quarry marks on back of casing stones. Found marked stones on north face, east face and north end of west face.

Photographed wood and gold under sarcophagus. Tried a gauge at foot of pit, preparatory to lifting out sarcophagus, and found sufficient clearance.
