G 2100 C: Removing unsafe stones of south wall of pit.

(2) G 2200 [= G 5080]
G 2200 B [= G 5080 B]: Down 11.35 meters; rubble and pebbles debris. Found in debris: four fragments inscribed limestone. Inscriptions:

(3) G 2220
G 2220 B: Mr. Lindon Smith and Dr. Derry saw body in coffin. Decided to remove lid [wood coffin 33-4-21], and get better photos; then, if possible to remove body to camp, Dr. Derry to work on body there. Made wooden 'crate' for lid, packed with felt strips. Removed two eastern hand-lugs from lid, being loose and sent up separately. Partly fitted crated to lid.

(4) East of G 2370
Clearing the rock surface for a width of 4 meters inside the boundary wall of excavations, in order to draw rock-cutting etc. before dumping over this area.

(5) G 5230
G 5230 A: Large masonry pit, rock-cut below. Apparently previously excavated. Clearing pit and south chamber for measuring. Depth 18.15 meters; debris, rubble sand, dirty debris.

G 2200 B [= G 5080 B]: Down 12.0 meters; debris, rubble and pebbles.

G 2220 B: Removed lid of coffin [33-4-21] in crate and sent up to Camp, wrapped in 'gumagh' as protection against sun and wind.

(4) East of G 2370
Clearing rock surface inside boundary wall. Uncovered parts of broken rubble and mud-brick walls.

(5) G 5230
G 5230 A: Clearing chamber.
