8-2-1933. STATE OF EXCAVATIONS. February 8, 1933

G 2100 C
Finished. Chamber containing rock-cut coffin along west side, N-S, and Canopic pit. Nothing found. Depth of pit 20.25 metres.

G 2200 B [= G 5080 B]
Removed remainder of door-blocking stones for photography. Pit now being left till required to lift inscribed stone and sarcophagi.

Clearing surface debrisfrom this area: nothing uncovered yet.

Pit A depth 8.38 metres, small chamber on west, finished, nothing found.
Pit B gone down 8.50 metres, sand debris.

Finished. Depth 4.5 metres, small chamber on west, cleared, nothing found.

Finished. hamber on south, nothing found. Depth 10.80 metres.

G 2370, east of
Uncovered in this area the north-west corner of the Great Pyramid pavement, and found in debris several fallen sections of the coping stones of an enclosing wall. The coping is round-topped; the thickness of wall at base of coping stones 134 cms; and the slope (batter) at this same base is 2 on 1.

Down 12.80 metres. Chamber on south with only a small break in the door-blocking of stone blocks cement.

Down 3.20 metres. Debris rubble and sand.

G 5040 B
Finished. Small chamber on south. Depth 7.50 metres.

G 5140 A
Finished.
Small chamber on south. Depth 5.30 metres. Found fragment of black granite seated statuette of man.

G 5140 B
Finished. Depth 12.20 metres. Small chamber on north. Found fragment of mud sealing, and fragments of s limestone sarcophagus.

Clearing pit and chamber. Depth 11.75 metres.
