Cars emptied:
Line IV to 8:00 am: 58, 8:30 to noon: 135, 1:00 to 4:30 pm: 159 (due to easy work and short carry on east face of G I-c)
total: 352
Recovery over yesterday, largely due to work on G I-c east face.
But absence of Said, el-Meyyit, and Mahmoud Qenawi still felt.

(1) Pyramid G I-c
Continued clearing chamber of stones and rubbish. Working on north end of chamber behind casing wall.

(2) Pyramid G I-c (east face)
Work in Isis Temple E-F being held up by crude brick wall, put that gang on debris of decay (yellow) which encumbers that face. In the axis, the former excavations had removed the greater part of the underlying dark debris, and part of the debris of decay had fallen down. Exposed face of pyramid in axis, preserved to the fifth and sixth course.

(3) Isis Temple
Continued clearing eastern side of Isis Temple where it enters the mastabas G 7130 and G 7140. And exposed rooms C, D, E, F, G, H of which G is in
G 7130 and D, E, F, H in G 7140.
