G 2033 C: Searching in the debris of the chamber for the remains of the mummy mask (gypsum). Found in debris. Fragment from the mummy mask (perhaps from the neck); small fragments from the face.

On top of the mastaba. In exposing the lining and the shafts of the mastaba. Limestone debris, dubsh, red sand, pebble and sand. Exposed ten shafts, not numbered yet.

Today was a very rainy day, so we had a terrible night and all the guards, house boys and everybody at the Camp were carrying the water from the courtyard, rooms and beside the walls of the house. The rain continued on to 10 p.m.

Guards and the boys in preparing the cars road the road to the camp, because it was cut yesterday by the rain.

Some of the boys in preparing the cars road. They finish it today.

Partly destroyed stone mastaba. It is east of G 2035b, west of G 2036, and north of G 2034. Five shafts.

G 2035a A: In shaft. Lined with dubsh above and rock-cut below. It is south of B and west of X. Down 4.4 meters. Red sand, pebble, and limestone debris. Chamber on west. Cut in rock. Blocked with two stones, dubsh and bound with mud. Not reached the rock in shaft and left the blocking for photo.

G 2035a B: In shaft and chamber. It is lined with dubsh, red rock below and rock-cut below. It is north of A and south of Z. Total depth 5 meters. Red sand, pebble and limestone debris. Chamber on west. Cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.
