Tuesday, May 4, 1926

Dunham and family left today on the 11 a.m. train to Port Said to take the American S.S. Resolute for New York.
el Meyyit was at the house in Maadi at 7:30 with a motor bus and took all the baggage to the Cairo station (eleven trunks and eight small pieces). While he was registering them, the bus returned to Maadi and fetched the Dunhams (six persons).
Mrs. Reisner, Mary, Mrs. Wheeler and I drove in from here at 8:40 and after doing some shopping went to the station at 10:15 then saw the Dunhams off.
I worked on the material from G 7000 X, during the afternoon.
Hot weather.

Very hot weather, minimum night temperatures, 26 centigrade, max day 36 centigrade.
