(1) South of G 4817
Work continued in sand south of G 4817 working west as far as the east face of another mastaba as indicated below. This mastaba, of which only a small section of the east face is exposed, has a door in the center of the exposed area.

(2) North of enclosure wall
Work continued clearing sand just north of the Great Wall from east of the railroad cutting to just west of the south end of G 4910. (For work on this line further east see [3]).
