Hawagat's furniture in L.G. 71. The Mudir spent the night in the tomb L.G. 71.

Wednesday, June 19, 1940
Guards in cleaning the car's roads between His Majesty the King's Rest House and G 7000 X.
The Mudir and Miss Perkins spent the night in L.G. 71.

Thursday, June 20, 1940
Guards in filling sacks with sand and putting them in magazine No. 4 for the objects from the Hetepheres tomb.
More boxes from Cairo containing Mr. Blanchard's Antiquities arrived and we are replacing them in their rock cut tomb G 7752.

Guards in cleaning the car's road north of L.G. 71.
Today we sent to Cairo to the Sudan Government in Cairo four boxes containing the pottery from the Sudan to be sent to Mr. Arkell.

(1) In the men's tomb. In removing the dirty sand from the front of the tomb because of the bad smell. Cleared.

Friday, June 28, 1940
Today Mrs. Reisner and Miss Mary Reisner left to Palestine and from Palestine they will take the airplane to India and from India to America by boat. They left Egypt because of the war.

Friday, July 5, 1940
Mohammed Said and family left for Quft because of war.
Also left to Quft: Mahmoud Ali, Haddad [Hadad Adawi], Ahmed Mahmoud and Hamid Genawi.

Tuesday, July 9, 1940
This morning a loaded lorry came with boxes of Mr. Blanchard's antiquities and we put them in G 7752.

Saturday, July 13, 1940
Two loaded lorries came with boxes of Mr. Blanchard's antiquities and we put them in G 7752, and these are the last boxes.

Today was Miss Dorothy Ginger's birthday and she made a tea party for all the men at the Camp and to all the Hawagat. In the tea party was a magician (a Hawi) and he was playing very good.
