    George Andrew Reisner, American, 1867–1942
  • Site Type
    Shafts only (no superstructure)
  • Shafts
    G 2301 A; G 2301 B1; G 2301 B2; G 2301 C; G 2301 D; G 2301 E; G 2301 F; G 2301 G; G 2301 H; G 2301 V; G 2301 Y
  • Remarks
In G 2301 B, the skeleton of burial B1 is actually lying almost directly on top of the roofing stones covering burial B2. This is why only one shaft B appears on map EG000498. Additionally, although this map shows shaft B at some distance east of the mastaba wall of G 5190, photos of burials B1 and B2 show shaft B right up against the mastaba wall.
