  • Site Type
    Mud-brick mastaba
  • Shafts
    5 shafts
  • Remarks
To the east of ABC 884 is a corridor chapel with an alternating pattern of four compound and four simple niches. The third compound niche from the south is by far the largest and there is a large embrasure opposite it, clearly marking this as the principal offering place. Extensive traces of mud plaster remain on the corridor and niche walls, while a patch of yellow-white gypsum plaster indicates that at least the principal niche was covered in gypsum plaster originally.
