Clearing drift sand from between 3030–3050. Has not been cleared enough to enable me to make out the construction. In sand, in about center of space, was found a fragment of worked limestone with a bit of raised surface.

Near north-east corner of 3050 in sand was found a limestone sacrificial blood(?) basin with two components.

Went with Reis Mahmud to at look at the rain-shelter which was been built over the white tomb.
Showed A.E. Yana (with the Australian troops) representing Irvine Perel, Editor of the “Patriot”, an Australian newspaper, about the excavations. He is going to write about them. He is a fiction writer, Mark Twain being his ideal.
