Capt. Bage came up at 7 o’clock and we went over the works to see if they were in line with the ranges. We both agreed that it was quite improbable that any more ricochets would come over the works. Later Capt. Grant came with a sentry who was stationed at the end of the dump heap, - beyond this is the danger zone. A messenger came this forenoon from the Police Station, and as near as I could make out two men were wanted there. Reis Mahmud and another man went with the messenger, and Reis is to write a letter to Dr. Reisner re the matter.
