Fisher and I left shortly after 7 this morning with Reis Mahmud, Bechari, and Hafiz, for Mit Rahineh, stopping on the way at the Third Dynasty unfinished tomb (a T-shaped ditch about 100 feet deep in which is a fine red granite coffin with cover, and many large red granite blocks from the floor and casing) of the Pharaoh Nefer-ka-Ra, and the Pyramid of Kha-Ba and burial pits beyond. From there we went direct to Mit Rahineh where views were made of the site of Kom El-Qalama. Back to Gizeh through the Nile Valley.
Telegram from Dr. Reisner asking that £E. 80 be telegraphed to him at once as he expects to leave Kerma on Friday.
Finished clearing pits of mastaba 3035.
Clearing sand from passage between mastaba 3035 and mastaba to west.
Clearing sand and mud debris from chamber of mastaba at S.W corner of mastaba 3035.
