Clearing vaulted chambers X, Y, Z, (originally one chamber) of mastaba 3033 of sand and mud and limestone debris. In chamber X many small fragments of an inscribed limestone stela. The roof (part of which is still in place) was of mud, imitation palm logs painted red. The walls of the chamber are painted white and blue (?). In chamber Y a ceremonial door with an inscription above. In chamber Z a ceremonial door with an inscription above. In centre a mud-brick burial chamber roofed over with large stone blocks. Many…
