(3) [Street G] 7300

A crew of workmen was working in Street [G] 7300. They were clearing debris of sand, limestone, and stone blocks. The debris is from the excavation of the Government.
They found in the debris:
1 large pottery jar
1 pottery jug
1 potsherd, similar to Qena pottery
1 fragment of a quartzite vessel
1 fragment of a faience bowl, decorated
1 fragment of faience
1 faience amulet of a deity
1 faience figurine of a bird
.. fragments of a faience bowl
1 fragment of a glass vessel
½ faience eye-shaped amulet
1 fragment of faience

(4) [Shaft] 7101 Y

Hasan Al-Far was working on this shaft. He was removing debris of sand, and some limestone chips and mud brick. He cleared this shaft to a depth of 2.14 m. The walls of this shaft are built with mud brick. This shaft is located to the east of the chapel.

(5) [Shaft] 7102 A

Mahmud Abd Al-Aziim was working on this shaft. He was removing debris of limestone chips, sand and rubble. The debris is mixed up because of plundering activities. He cleared this shaft to a depth of 2.51 m. This shaft is located to the north of shaft 7101 Y and to the east of the chapel. The walls of this shaft are built with mud brick.

(6) [Shaft] 7102 B

Hamid Mahmud was working on this shaft. He was removing debris of limestone chips, rubble and stone blocks. The debris is mixed up because of plundering activities. They cleared this shaft to a depth of 2.9 m.

(7) [Shaft] 7102 C

Abd Al-Razek started clearing this shaft. He was removing debris of limestone chips, rubble and mud brick. The debris is mixed up because of plundering activities.

(8) [Shaft] 7102 D

Mahmud Ali was working on this shaft. He was removing debris of limestone chips, rubble and mud brick. The debris is mixed up because of plundering activities. They cleared this shaft to a depth of 2.48 m. They reached the bottom of the shaft. The burial chamber is on the south. The walls of the burial chamber are lined with mud brick. The ceiling is lined with stone slabs. The walls of the shaft are built with mud brick.

(9) [Shaft] 7102 E

Helal was working on this shaft. He was removing debris of limestone chips, rubble, dark soil and mud bricks. The debris is mixed up because of plundering activities. He cleared this shaft to a depth of 2.10 m. The upper sections of the shaft’s walls are built with mud brick, whereas the lower sections are built with stone blocks. This shaft is larger than the other two shafts. It is ca. 144 cm wide.
