Wednesday, November 20, 1935, the Pyramids (continued)

Shaft 4518 A

Othman [Youness] and some workmen were in this shaft. The walls are built with small size rubble. They dug down a total of 80 cm. The debris is sand and dark soil. Its burial chamber is to the south. The walls are lined with rubble. The ceiling is lined with stone slabs, missing some stones. There are no blocking stones. They found in the debris of the burial chamber one pottery jar. They cleared it for drawing and photography. Here is its drawing:
