Shaft [1166] A (continued)

Burial Chamber I: It is to the east. It is mud-brick and rubble, roofed with slabs of stones. There were no blocking stones. They found fragments of human bones in the fill of the burial chamber. Burial Chamber II: It is to the east and cut into the Gebel. There were no blocking stones. It was probably sealed with mud-bricks, since there are remains of the bricks. In the fill of the burial chamber, there are bones of [a] human skeleton. They cleared it. Here is its drawing:

Barbary Ahmed and the workmen were in this shaft. It is rubble on top and cut into the Gebel on [the] bottom. They dug down 455 cm. The debris is sand on top of limestone chips. There are two burial chambers: burial chamber I and burial chamber II. Burial Chamber I: It is to the east. It is rubble and mud-bricks. It is roofed with stone slabs. There were no blocking stones. Burial Chamber II: It is to the west and cut into the Gebel. It is sealed with stones and rubble. They reached the rock bottom of the shaft. We left the blocking stone of burial chamber II for drawing and photography.

The abovementioned workmen were in the burial chambers. It is mud-brick and rubble on top and cut into the Gebel. It was previously dug to a depth of 300 cm. They dug down 400 cm. The debris is sand, dark soil, and limestone chips. There are two burial chambers: burial chamber I and burial chamber II. Burial Chamber I: It is to the west and cut into the Gebel. It is roofed with stone slabs; there are no blocking stones. Burial Chamber II: It is to the west and cut into the Gebel. There were no blocking stones. They reached the rock bottom of the shaft.
