Friday, October 7, 1932, the Pyramids

Some of the guards were working on the burial chamber of shaft 2210 A. The fill is rubble and limestone chips. They found in the fill: 2 intact pottery jars; 1 large pottery cup; fragments of [a] wooden box; mud seals [?]; potsherds; reeds [?], 1 piece of stucco; 2 pieces of flint; and a skeleton. They have not yet finished clearing it.

Saturday, [October] 8, [the Pyramids]

A crew of guards was working on the burial chamber of shaft 2210 A. The fill is limestone chips and flint. They cleared it, and found nothing. Also Some of the guards were working on the Deputy Director’s garden.

Sunday, [October] 9, [1932, the Pyramids]

Some of the guards were assisting Dahi Ahmed in photographing the burial chamber of shaft 2210 A. They photographed it. Also a number of guards were working on the Deputy Director’s garden.

Monday, [October] 10, [1932, the Pyramids]

The same as the 9th of the month.

Tuesday, [October] 11, [1932, the Pyramids]

Nothing today. Moussa [Khalil] left for his hometown, because he has a court hearing.
