Wednesday, April 13, 1932, the Pyramids (continued)

Shaft 1673 F

Mohamed Awad and Ismaeil Sobhey are in this shaft. The upper parts of its walls are built with rubble and the lower are cut into the Gebel. They went down to a total of 4 m. deep. The fill is rubble, limestone and sand. The burial chamber is in the western wall and sealed with rubble and stones. We left it for photography.

Shaft 1673 G

Mubarak Mohareb and Khalil Abu el-Maged are in this shaft. Its walls are built with rubble. They went down to a total of 160 cm. deep. The fill is rubble, limestone and sand. It turned out to be an unfinished shaft and there is no burial chamber.

Shaft 1673 H

Ali Mahmoud Mohsen and Mubarak Mohareb are in this shaft. Its walls are built with rubble and stones. They went down to a total of 155 cm. deep. The fill is rubble, limestone chips and sand. The burial chamber is located in the western wall and sealed with rubble. We left it for photography.

(3) Mastaba 1674

Some of the workmen are in this mastaba. It is a stone-built structure. It is missing some of its courses. The debris is rubble, limestone chips and sand. Shafts A and B were uncovered. They have not cleaned it yet.

Shaft 1674 A

Moussa Khalil and Solueiman Mohamed are in this shaft. Its walls are built with rubble. They went down to a total of 118 cm. deep. The fill is rubble, limestone chips and sand. The burial chamber is in the western wall and sealed with rubble. We left it for photography.

Shaft 1674 B

They have not started digging it yet.
