(5) Mastaba 1623

Barbary Ahmed and Ali Ibraheim are above this mastaba. The debris is rubble, sand, limestone chips and potsherds. Shaft A was uncovered.

Shaft [1623] A

The abovementioned workmen are in this shaft. Its upper part is built with stones and the lower part is cut into the Gebel. It is 180 cm. deep. The fill is sand, rubble, limestone chips and some potsherds. Its burial chamber is in the eastern wall and there are no blocking stones at the chamber’s entrance. They found in the fill fragments of a pottery dish. They cleaned it and here are its drawings:

(6) Mastaba 1625

Excavation is progressing to the east of this mastaba and above it. The debris is sand, rubble, limestone chips and potsherds. They identified the walls of shaft A.

Shaft [1625] A

Barbary Ahmed and Idris Solueiman [are in this shaft]. Its upper part is built with stones and the lower part is cut into the Gebel. It is 226 cm. deep. The fill is sand, rubble and limestone chips. Its burial chamber is in the southern wall and blocked with stones. We left it for photography.

(7) Mastaba 1626

Some of the workmen are in this mastaba. It is a stone-built structure. The debris is sand, rubble and limestone chips. Two niches were discovered in its eastern façade. Also, shaft A was found but they have not started cleaning it yet. Here is its drawing:
