Partially destroyed filled stone mastaba built against G 2441. Retaining walls of masonry on east, west, north largely destroyed. On south it is partly against G 2441, and partly a retaining wall of rubble. Six shafts in mastaba A, B, C, D, E, F, three subsidiary X, Y, Z. [margin note: 925, 929, 945, 957, 958, 960]

Shaft A [G 2443 A]: page 929. Rock cut? Ends at rock?

Shaft B [G 2443 B]: page 929. Rock cut. Chamber I built on east. Chamber II on west, cut in rock. Intact blocking of rubble and mud. Cut in rock, body head north, wrapped in decayed linen. Below head, a stone. [margin note: 945]

Shaft C [G 2443 C]: Ends at rock. 929.

Shaft D [G 2443 D]: Ends at rock.

Shaft E [G 2443 E]: Ends at rock. Chamber on south. Blocked with two stones, rubble, mud. Rubble built chamber. Body loosely contracted skeleton, head north. A child? [margin note: 945]

Shaft F [G 2443 F]: Ends at rock. Chamber on north. Blocking is rubble and mud, partly destroyed. Chamber built of rubble. Body tightly contracted skeleton, head north. [margin note: 945]

Shaft X [G 2443 X]: Ends at rock. Chamber on east, stone built. No blocking. Cleared.

Shaft Y [G 2443 Y]: At southwest corner of mastaba. Ends at rock. Masonry lined. Chamber on west. Blocking, rubble and mud. Intact. Cut in rock. Body and head north. [margin note: 945]

Shaft Z [G 2443 Z]: Ends at rock. Chamber on north. Blocking, rubble and mud. Chamber built of masonry. Body loosely contracted skeleton, head north. [margin note: 945]

G 2444
Destroyed mastaba, filled stone mastaba, apparently built against G 2442 and G 2445 and G 2427. Three shafts A, B, C. Masonry retaining wall preserved only on west. [margin note: 925, 942, 958]

Shaft A [G 2444 A]: Ends at rock. Chamber on south (blocked with rubble and mud intact), built of rubble. North-south rock cut coffin (no lid), contains contracted skeleton, head north. Male?

Shaft B [G 2444 B]: Ends at rock. Chamber on south (blocking stone slab, rubble, mud intact), built of rubble. Tightly contracted skeleton, head north. Female?

Shaft C [G 2444 C]: Ends at rock. Chamber on north (blocking in rubble and mud), rubble built. Loosely contracted skeleton, head north.

Shaft B [G 2444a B]: Ends at rock. Chamber on north (blocking crude brick and mud intact), built of rubble. Contracted skeleton. Child.
