The elements marked a in the sketch are gold leaf cut out and inlaid.

There appears to be at least five of them. 5 x 8 = 40 cm +, 6 x 2 cm border = 12 making total of 52 cm. These seem to be from one board only and for that reason can hardly belong to stool (ii). On the other hand they are not of the same work as the inlays about c above. The bars marked c above are peculiar.
