Stone mastaba, east of G 2000, north of G 2042a and west of G 2043 a. With a stone chapel on east. Opened to west. Blocked with stones. Two limestone niches in west wall of the chapel. The northern niche is not inscribed. The southern one is inscribed in sunk relief. Exposed nine shafts A, B, C, D, E, X, Y, Z, W.

G 2043 A: In shaft and chamber. Lined above with dubsh and rock-cut below. It is north of B and east of D. Total depth 4.72 meters. Drift sand and limestone debris. Two chambers.
Chamber I. On east. Cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared.
Chamber II. On west. Cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing of shaft.

G 2043 B: In shaft. Lined above with rubble on three sides, only on south with masonry, rock-cut below. It is south of A and east of C. Total depth 1.9 meters. Sand and limestone debris. Ended at rock. No chamber. Type 7 X.

G 2043 C: In shaft. Lined with rubble to the beginning of the rock. It is south o f C and west of B. Total depth 1.6 meters. Sand and drift papers. Ended at rock. No chamber. Type 7 X.

G 2043 D: In shaft and chamber. Lined above with rubble to the beginning of the bad rock. It is west of A, north of C and south of D. Total depth 1.65 meters. Sand and drift papers. Chamber, north-south chamber in west side of the shaft. Built with dubsh and roof gone. Cleared. Drawing.

G 2043 E: In shaft and chamber. Lined above with rubble and on three sides only on north with masonry to the beginning of the bad rock. It is north of D. Total depth 1.4 meters. Sand and drift papers. Chamber on east. Built with stones. Roof gone. No blocking. It is the same as a serdab. Cleared. Drawing.
