(1) G 2085
On the top of the mastaba. In exposing the rest of the shafts and the lining on east and north. Sand, limestone debris, dubsh, pebble and stones from the dump heap. On east side of the mastaba appears a limestone niche (uninscribed). Also exposed three shafts, not yet lettered and not started. In them 0 the rest of the lining on east and north not yet exposed.

(2) G 2086
G 2086 serdab of room a: Mr. W.S. Smith, Mohammed Said in putting candles on the three wooden basis. Some of the basis removed and fragments left in the serdab (Bill's orders).

The Mudir ordered us to stop work east of G 2084 and G 2085 and we are going to excavate them afterwards. "INSHAALLAH".

G 2086 A: In shaft. Lined above with masonry and rock cut below. It is south of B, west of C and north of the serdab of room a. Total depth 4.15 meters. Sand, pebble, red debris and white limestone debris underneath. Chamber on north. Blocked with rubble, resting on limestone debris and bound with mud, partly destroyed from the upper part. It is cut in rock. Left for photo.

G 2086 B: In shaft. Lined above with stones to the beginning of the rock. It is north of A and west of D. Total depth 1.5 meters. Limestone debris, pebble and red debris. Chamber on north. Blocked with rubble with traces of mud. Left for photo.

G 2086 C: In shaft and chamber. Lined with masonry to the beginning of the rock. It is east of A, south of D and north of room a. Total depth 2.05 meters. Sand and limestone debris. Chamber on east, lined with masonry and roofed with slabs. No blocking. North-south built coffin without lid. Empty. Cleared. Drawing.
