(1) G 2342 [= G 5520]
Digging hole on the top of the mastaba. Total depth 50 cm. On east of the hole we down to 1.7 meters. Not reached the rock in shaft on east, but we reached the rock in west side.

(2) G 2378
Digging hole in the room of the mastaba which the columns in. Total depth 1.07 meters. White limestone debris. Reached the rock.

(3) G 4714
G 4714 A: In shaft and chamber. It is north of B and the room. Lined with stones above and rock below. Total depth 10.70 meters. Excavated before 9.2 meters. Stones we break, dubsh and drift sand in the shaft. In chamber wooden decayed and white limestone debris. In chamber on south, appears burial pit cut in rock, opened. Lined with dubsh and bound with mud and plaster. Also on southwest appears a canopic pit, without blocking. The chamber floor is not straight. Found in chamber debris: small alabaster ink pot, long alabaster cup, small chisel. Also we found in chamber on the floor: alabaster small cups, some fragments of wooden coffin decayed, head and broken bones. The remains of the blocking left for photo, also the objects.

G 4714. This mastaba lined with stones. It is west of G 4715 and east of G 4712. Drawing of the mastaba on page 200.

(4) G 4818
G 4818 A: Removed the chamber blocking. Stone (we break), dubsh and inside the chamber black debris and dubsh. It is small chamber. Body, head on north, left for photo.

Abd el Salam and Mahmud Ali arrived today from Quft.
