Clearing debris west of G 7247, uncovering the west face of mastaba. Found one small green stone scarab.
G 7247 G: Clearing debris. Two chambers, one on north, and one on west, Down 10.0

G 7251 F: Clearing Pit F. Chamber on south, closed with "dubsh" and mud, Depth 3.43 meters.

General diary continued:
The men were paid off this day and fifty-five left on the night train for Quft. The rest of the men were kept to assist at G 7000 X (eleven men) and as guards (nine men).
Dunham did not come Friday, nor today and sent word that he has the same diphtherative sore throat as the nurse. The baby Margaret is also affected. He is unable to get passage on the Dollar line of May 12 but may get on the American Line Tourist leaving Port Said on May 5th.
