August 8, 1914

On this day Drummond arrived and we proceeded with the division.

August 8 to August 18, 1914

The objects were grouped in equal lots or pairs of lots and assigned partly by agreement, but mostly by casting lots. The agreements were signed on the 18th.

August 19, 1914

September 9, 1914

The allies appear to be breaking up the right of the German attack.
