North of these mastabas on the northern cliff. Searching for lining of new mastabas, shafts or rock cut tombs, sand, limestone debris, rubble, pebble, stones and red debris. Nothing exposed in that place.

Work exactly as yesterday, north of G 2097 and G 2098. Searching of any new lining.

North of these mastabas. North of the northern cliff. Search for new mastabas, shafts or rock cut tombs, sand, limestone debris, rubble, pebble, stones and red debris. Exposed the lining of some small mastabas. Lining not exactly cleared.

(2) G 2098
G 2098 Y: W.S. Smith removed the linen which was covered the burial. Linen left in place and body left for photo.

North of these mastabas. On top of the northern cliff. Search for new mastabas or shafts, sand, limestone debris, rubble, pebble, stones and red debris. Exposed parts of the lining of new mastabas and shafts. Remains of lining and shafts not yet exposed and not numbered yet. We stopped working in that place.

(2) G 2098
G 2098 B: Removed the chamber blocking. It is built of stones and roofed with slabs. Rubble from the blocking and sand in the chamber. Body [39-4-19], head on north, above the limestone debris, left for photo.

G 2098 E: Removed the chamber blocking. Built of rubble and roofed with slabs, stone, rubble and mud from the blocking and in the chamber sand. No body in the chamber. Cleared. Drawing.
