Mohammed Said left for Quft to spend the rest of Ramadan and to make the celebration day of the funeral of Ahmed Said.

Sunday, November 5, 1939
Dr. Reisner's seventy-two. Birthday today. Hoping God will keep him for us for many many years. "Inshaallah."

Friday, November 17, 1939
Mohammed Said arrived this morning from Quft. He was ill and sent to the C.M.S. Hospital in the afternoon.

Thursday, November 23, 1939
Mohammed Said came out from the C.M.S. Hospital this morning.

Saturday, December 16, 1939
Sixteen guards arrived from Quft this morning. Fifteen guards left tonight to Quft.
