G 2435 X (continued): The second stone is broken in two, showing figure in relief and incised inscriptions. Sketch of stone.
Margin Note: G 2435 X. stones. Also in the same chamber underneath these two stones we removed today we found two other inscribed stones. We are not yet certain what they are showing, figures or inscriptions. Left for photo.

(2) East of G 2438
Margin Note: G 2438 shafts.
East of that mastaba in removed the old dump. In exposing the remains of the lining on east and north. Sand, limestone debris, rubble, dirty debris and stones. Exposed the lining on east and north. it is east of G 2440. Built of stones. On the east side is a stone, the same as a stele north of the door of the room, uninscribed. Also exposed eight shafts A, B, C, D, X, Y, Z, U and the room. Not yet started in the shafts. Exposed the lining and the shafts, only remains of the lining on east not yet expose also on south because of the railway line. Drawing on page 883.

Also we put the letters of the shafts of G 2440 and draw with G 2438 on page 883.

G 2435 X: Removed the stones we discovered yesterday, in the building of the chamber on west, underneath the two inscribed stones we discovered before. Yellow limestone showing a seated figure in relief, only the head not very clear because the stone is weathered. Sketch of stone.
