G 2243 serdab: Built with stones. South of A and west of room a to south, sand, limestone debris and rubble. Cleared on a limestone debris. We were surprise[d] that the building of that serdab is hanging on east on the limestone debris floor, but on west, north and south, the lining is going underneath the floor. So we removed the limestone debris floor, down in the serdab, and we exposed that the serdab was built on a shaft. Stop work in serdab after drawing and photograph in order to expose the shaft underneath the floor.
