G 2442 C: In shaft and chamber I. lined with rubble. South of D and north of B. Total depth 1.5 meters. Sand, limestone debris and rubble.
Chamber I. On east. Built of rubble, only on south masonry on south below the rubble. Roofed with slabs. No blocking. Cleared. Not reached the rock in shaft and chamber II not yet appeared.

G 2442 D: In shaft. Lined with rubble. North of C. Total depth 1.2 meters. Sand, limestone debris and rubble. Not reached the rock in shaft and chamber not yet appeared.

G 2442 X: In shaft. Lined with masonry. It is in the street, east of A. Total depth 1.2 meters. Sand, limestone debris, rubble and stones. Not reached the rock in shaft and chamber not yet appeared.

(1) West of G 2400
West of that mastaba, north of G 2186. In removing the old dump heap, searching for new mastaba and shafts. Sand, limestone debris, rubble and dirty debris. Nothing exposed in that place.

Margin Note: G 2442 shafts.
G 2442 A: In shaft and chamber. Total depth 5.51 meters. Sand, limestone debris, and rubble. Chamber on west. Cut in rock. No blocking. north-south rock cut coffin with northern half of the lid gone and the southern half remains. Cleared. Empty. Drawing.

G 2442 C: In shaft. Below chamber I. Down 1.25 meters. Sand, limestone debris, and rubble. Chamber II appeared in middle of shaft, running north-south and roofed with slabs and bound with traces of mud. Left for photo.

G 2442 D: In shaft. Total depth 2.2 meters. Sand, limestone debris and rubble. Chamber on north. Blocked with rubble and crude brick with traces of mud. Left for photo.

G 2442 X: In shaft and chamber. Total depth 2.75 meters. Sand, limestone debris and rubble; Chamber on north. Built of rubble and roofed with slabs. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.
