G 2471 A: Mr. Melnicoff went down in the shaft to draw the wooden coffin which was found in the chamber. He removed the coffin without been photographed for the second time after clearing, in the first photo. [There] is a small part of the coffin visible. He did not ask me to remove the box and the coffin. Chamber cleared. Drawing.

(1) South of G 2180
South of that mastaba and north of G 4980. In clearing the street which is between these mastabas, sand, and limestone debris. Street not yet cleared.

(2) G 2464
G 2464 A: Removed the bones of the skeleton from the chamber and also the decayed wooden fragments. The body is male, and nothing found with him. Chamber cleared and we did not start in the shaft which is descending below the chamber.

G 2464 B: Removed the coffin lid from chamber II, stones, and mud. Body, loose contracted skeleton, bones turned and head on north, left for photo.

G 2464 C: Removed the bones from the chamber: male. Empty. Drawing.

(3) G 2468
G 2468 D: Removed the wooden coffin from chamber II. The coffin is photographed but not drawn, because of the decay. Below the wooden fragments of the coffin is the burial, loose contracted skeleton, head north, small female, left for photo.

(4) G 2469
G 2469 A: Removed the lid of the chamber coffin, big stone, rubble, and traces of plaster from the coffin lid. Body, extended skeleton, had north, wrapped in traces of linen and below his head a stone, left for photo.

(5) G 2471
G 2471 B: Removed the bones of the body from the chamber. We are not yet sure if it is for a male of female. Empty. Drawing.
