…inscribed limestone stela.
Behind the stela in chamber X of mastaba 2093 [= G 3093] was a serdab. In debris a few fragments of what was apparently a statuette.
Letter from Grandmother A., and five letters and cards from Estelle.
A fine day - north wind.
At five o’clock the guard of the Pyramid Temple of Mycerinus came running in with Reis Mahmud and said that three soldiers were destroying things there, and when he tried to stop them they threatened him with a knife. I ran down at once but the soldiers had disappeared and the efforts of twelve men to find them were unsuccessful. I see no use in reporting this matter without knowing the names of the soldiers.
