G 2239 A: Removed the chamber blocking. It is cut in rock. Rubble and mud from the blocking. Chamber full of sand. Body [39-5-18], head west. Left for photo.
G 2239 B: Removed the chamber blocking. It is cut in rock. Rubble and mud from the blocking. Body [39-5-19], head on north, traces of linen cloth. Body left for photo.
G 2239 D: Removed the chamber blocking. Built with rubble and bound with gypsum. Roofed with slabs. Rubble and mud from the blocking. Body [39-5-20], head on north, left for photo.
G 2239 F: Removed the chamber blocking. Built of rubble and bound with gypsum. Roofed with slabs. Dubsh and mud from the blocking. Child (broken bones) [39-5-21], head on north (broken). Left for photo.
G 2239 J: Removed the chamber blocking. Built of rubble, and roofed with slabs bound with gypsum. Crude brick, rubble and mud. Body [39-5-22], head east. Around the body decayed wooden fragments (perhaps from coffin). Left for photo.

Prepared a railway line north of G 2085 and G 2230, running to east in order to expose the foundation of G 2240.
