    Mastabas G 1459, 1460 & 1461 lie east to west in German concession in a row west of G 1458 and southwest of G 1457. Mastabas drawn but not labeled on plan EG002029. Drum of Nefer found in debris by Reisner while he was digging nearby. Tomb later excavated by Junker. MASTABAS G 1458-1461 MAY BE JUNKER'S ITJU, ANKHMARE (2), SENEB, AND POSSIBLY S 4523 OR ANKH.

    • Remarks Limestone drum lintel (MFA 21.3080) inscribed for Nefer, identified as [jmj-r sSw Axt-xwfw Hrj-sStA Axt-xwfw jmj-r pr-HD] overseer of scribes of the pyramid of Khufu, secretary of the pyramid of Khufu, overseer of the treasury; reused as roofing in G 1461 (found in debris). Nefer probably not owner of G 1461.
