    VERIFIED: mounted print archive card identifies these as 07-2-147 (no registration records from this date); identification verified based on publication p. 21; no udjat eye amulet included in list of items for 07-2-147, this udjat similar to those designated 07-2-140 from same provenance, but all four of those included in C408 and C2881 (however lists of items for specific "registration" numbers in publication have proved on occasion NOT to be inclusive of all items actually found)

In his "A History of the Giza Necropolis I," George A Reisner described Said Ahmed Said as "the most gifted foreman who ever worked for the expedition." Father of Mohammed Said Ahmed [Diraz] (Head Reis 1936–1939), Mahmud Said Ahmed [Diraz] (Translator), Ahmed Said Ahmed [Diraz]. Family name, Diraz, was supplied by Said Ahmed Said's grandsons in 2006.
