Still clearing embankment of Line II to north of G 7102; now about 22 meters north of mastaba G 7210.
Just two meters to the south of G 7214 I pit, in the upper debris, came a corroded Roman coin, three small fragments of ushabtis, and two pots, one red ware [ILLUSTRATION] and one light brown ware with dark brown bands [ILLUSTRATION]; broken at neck.
Work on graves G 7214 I, K, L, N and the newly found grave G 7214 P (see No. 9).
Pit G 7102 G cleared (see No. 8).

Street G 7300: front of G 7310 and G 7320.
Men breaking up large stones in street between interior chapel of G 7320 and rough east west wall to north of chapel in street (see plan on page 161).
Also clearing pit of G 7320 X. Men have now reached a depth of 830 cm and found that at the bottom of pit there are two doors, one to the south leading to three chambers and one to the north
