On the top of the mastaba. It is north of G 2412, west of G 2416 and east of G 2420. lined with stones, sand, black debris, limestone debris and dubsh. Shafts not yet exposed on north side, but on south we exposed room with two inscribed stela and north of the room is a serdab excavated before.

Bad wind blown at noon and we stopped the work.

On the top of the mastaba, on north and in the street which is east of this mastaba between this mastaba and G 2415. In exposing the lining and the shafts, limestone debris, sand, dubsh and stones. Exposed some shafts on north, on south the shafts not yet exposed, and we numbered the shafts which appeared before.

On the top of the mastaba on north. In exposing the lining of the shaft which is south of G 1223 A: limestone debris, dubsh and sand. The lining of the shaft not yet exposed.

(2) G 2420
On the top of the mastaba, in the street which is east of it, between this mastaba and G 2415, in exposing the lining and the shafts. Exposed the shafts: A, B, C, D, E, F, H, I, U, V, W, S, Y, Z and appear rooms a, b, c. In the street on south appear two doorjambs opened to south and also appears the serdab of the mastaba on west of room a, the roof of the serdab gone.

G 2420 a: In the room: It is on the south of the mastaba, on the southwest of room b. It is lined with stones (not inscribed) and the lining is gone, only one course remains, limestone debris, dubsh, sand and broken stones. Found in the room small inscribed fragments from stones [36-5-27, 36-5-28]. Cleared.

G 2420 b: In the room which is in the street east of G 2420, it is northeast of room a. Lined with stones (not inscribed), sand, limestone debris and dubsh. On west appear three stela. The north stela is not inscribed. The middle one in inscribed (sunk relief), partly gone and has the name of Khufu in a cartouche. The third stela is inscribed (sunk relief) and have traces of gypsum and red color and have the name of Khufu in a cartouche. Cleared.

G 2420 c: In the room. Lined with stones. In the street on southeast of room a and south of room b, limestone debris, sand and dubsh. Cleared. Drawing of the mastaba on page 324.
