On south of the mastaba. In the street on east. Sand, limestone debris, dubsh and broken mud brick. Found in street debris: small alabaster [?] dishes and cups. Nothing appear[s].

(2) G 1358
G 1358 A: In shaft. Lined with dubsh. Total depth 1.25 meters. Sand. Chamber on east. Lined with dubsh and roofed with stones. No blocking. Body [35-4-34] in chamber head on north. We can't photograph the body because the chamber is small.

G 1358 B: In shaft. Lined with dubsh and mud brick. Total depth 1.6 meters. Sand. Chamber on west. Lined with dubsh and roofed with stones. No blocking. Found in debris: skeleton [35-4-14]. Cleared. Empty. Drawing.

G 1401 A: Removed chamber I roof. Stones and some mud from the bound. Scattered bones [35-4-15]. Left the bones for photo. Underneath chamber I the shaft continue[s].

(4) G 1413
G 1413 C: Removed chamber blocking. Stones and gypsum from the binding. Broken wooden coffin [35-5-40, 35-7-17] appears in chamber. Found in blocking debris: fragment of sandstone with green stain copper. Coffin left for photo.

On south of the mastaba. In the street on east. Sand, limestone debris and broken mud brick. No pits appear.

(2) G 1407
On north of the mastaba. In the east and west corner. Sand and broken mud brick. To expose the rock in the corners for drawing. Rock not yet exposed.

Hadad Adawi arrived today to work in the house and to guard.

(1) G 1401
G 1401 A: Removed the bones [35-4-15] from chamber I and also removed the building of the chamber which is dubsh built above the debris in shaft. Down in main shaft 2.65 meters, limestone debris and dubsh. Chamber II appears on east cut in rock blocked with stones and dubsh and some from the mud from binding. Not reached the rock in shaft. Chamber II blocking left for photo. Found in shaft under II blocking left for photo. Found in shaft under chamber I and above chamber II in debris: one pot, four small model dishes, small offering cup [35-4-16].

(2) G 1407
South and north of the mastaba. Drift sand and broken mud brick. Exposed the northeast corner and the west corner. Not exposed the south corner and the casing of the mastaba.

(3) G 1411
G 1411 C: Exposed the rock with the coffin which is in the chamber cut in rock. Mr. Bill order[ed] us to leave the wood fragments which is in the coffin, because it is not useful. Drawing on page 36.
