East and west of mastaba. Sand, dubsh and limestone debris. To expose the building of the mastaba for drawing. Exposed the building.

G 5040 Z: In shaft. All the building gone. It is north of Y and south of U. Total depth 35 cm. Sand and limestone debris. Chamber on north lined with dubsh and stones. All the roof gone. Blocked with dubsh and mud brick. Open and empty. Drawing.

G 5040 U: In shaft. Lined with stones and dubsh. Some of the building gone on east. It is north of Z and south of V. Total depth 1.4 meters. Sand. Chamber on south lined with stones and mud brick. Roof gone. No blocking. Open and empty. Drawing.

G 5040 V: In shaft. Lined with dubsh. On west the building of mastaba G 5040. It is near the northeast corner and north of U. Total depth 1.4 meters. Sand and limestone debris. Chamber on south. Blocked with one stone on west and dubsh, some of the blocking gone on top. Reached the rock in shaft. Blocking left for photo.

On top of mastaba. It is north of G 5040 and south of 5050. It is small mastaba. The face of the mastaba lined with stones on east and west. Limestone debris, dubsh, potsherds and black debris. Exposed shafts A, B, C, D, E for drawing. The shafts are Prof. Junker shafts. Drawing on page 105.
