Dunham began card catalogue of objects found in 1925-1926, and in the afternoon Wheeler went on with it.

Work on:
(1) G 7000 X
Dunham and I fitted together rest of poles as follows
S (1) nos. 1301 + 1305 B + (1438 and 1439) + 1451 looking north
S (2) nos. 1302 + 1449 + 1409 looking north
S (3) nos. 1303 + 1441 looking north
S (4) nos. 1304 + 1442 looking north
S (5) nos. 1305 + 1332 + 1443 + 1450 looking north
All were found behind the coffin extending out to the south. The breaking and crumpling took place when the whole deposit collapsed owing to the decay of the wood.
No. (1) had been spliced (before the burial) with a copper cylinder (see nos. 1438 + 1439).
