Work on:
(1) G 7000 X
Canopy was assembled. Work went on as before.
Finished report on G 7000 X and articles (1) and (2).
Article (1) = The discovery of the tomb page 10.
(down to April 14).
Article (2) = The clearing of the chamber page 8.
(down to December 16).
These two are intended for newspaper publication in order to forestall the misrepresentation of the results by the press.
The report is intended for a book and contains 69 pages.

Saturday, January 1, 1927
Wheeler on card catalogue register as before. Dunham on canopy cloth and on place list bit of contents of boxes. I went on to photographic register and writing titles on print plates. Supervising reconstruction work. Began lantern slides.

Sunday, January 2, 1927
As before.

Monday, January 3, 1927
Began reconstruction of carrying chair. Wheeler began arranging cards of objects 1925-6 in boxes. Provenance catalogue. Classified object catalogue. Not including G 7000 X. I called on Edgar at Museum this morning
1) discussed my proposal to apply for permission to publish series of three newspaper articles
2) discussion of objects 1924-1926. We make no claim to anything from
