Men's day off.
Spent day in Cairo with Miss Flint and Miss Paull.

Tuesday, February 10, 1914

Entire day spent clearing debris from street east of G 4830 uncovering a small mastaba.

Wednesday, February 11, 1914

Work continued all day east and northeast of G 4830.

Thursday, February 12, 1914

Work as yesterday clearing pits etc. of hard debris finding the upper left hand corner of an inscribed stela [14-2-1, fragment of slab stela of Wenshet] in pit G 4832 A at a depth of about 6 meters. Also sand south of G 4830 started.

Work as yesterday.

Saturday, February 14, 1914

Work continuing clearing mastabas G 4832 and G 4833 east of G 4830 and on sand south of G 4830.

Sunday, February 15, 1914

Work continuing on sand south of G 4830. Two fragments of a small alabaster statue were found both bearing inscriptions [14-2-2, 14-2-3]. One was found in sand debris southeast of G 4830 and the other down pit G 4833 B at a depth of about 10 meters. Entire street east of G 4830 finished.

Work continued south of G 4830 where two pits were found and when arriving at the hard debris just over the solid rock a great many fragments of two small alabaster statuettes (some pieces inscribed) were found.
A serdab in G 4733 east of G 4730 was exposed and cleared through a window opening toward the east, but was found empty. It is possible the alabaster fragments came from this serdab:
