work on
(1) the room of G 2473
(2) North of G 2479
(3) G 2483 A-F, X, Y

(1) G 2473
In the room. In removing the lining of shaft X [Margin note: T(?)] and V [Margin note: W(?)] of G 2400 which are inside that room in order to clean the room and to show the inscriptions on the walls. Stones and rubble from the shafts and underneath that is limestone debris and rubble. Room cleared. We will describe it afterwards because there remains some debris above the inscriptions and the decorations. So we left the room to dry and after that we will clean it again.
Found in debris: inscribed limestone fragment (showing man and wife seated on a chair, the basis partly gone also part of the face and the head of the figure missing) [40-4-50].
two inscribed fragments in sunk relief. Room cleared on a limestone floor.

(2) North of G 2479
North of that mastaba. In exposing the lining on north, sand, limestone debris, rubble and stones. We exposed that the lining of the mastaba on north is broken and north of that appeared another mastaba continued with that mastaba and running to the north. We stop clearing that mastaba because it goes under M. Boraize's [Baraize] house. Also we stopped the work in that place.
Found in debris:
alabaster kohl pot with part of the neck missing.
inscribed limestone fragment in sunk relief.

(3) G 2483
G 2483 A: In shaft and chamber. Lined above with rubble and cut in rock below. It is north of D and F and southwest of B. Total depth 2.45 meters, sand, limestone debris and rubble. Chamber on west cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing on page 977.
