North of the mastaba in exposing the remains of the lining of the mastabas and shafts, sand, limestone debris, rubble, and dirty debris. Found in debris: uninscribed offering stone, remains of lining not yet exposed.

North of that mastaba, in removing the old dump. Searching for lining of new mastabas and shafts in that place, sand, limestone debris, rubble and stones. Found in debris: limestone fragment, inscribed in sunk relief perhaps from tablet. Small limestone fragment, showing parts of incised inscriptions. Small limestone fragment, showing parts of incised inscriptions. Inscribed limestone fragment showing parts of signs (bowls), perhaps from the building of the room.
Today we removed the inscribed limestone offering basin, also removed the offering stone (inscribed). They were beside G 2471 on the east. See the diary of March 11, 1940.
