G 2440 G: In shaft. It is underneath the chamber which was discovered yesterday. Total depth 5.4 meters, sand, limestone debris, and rubble. Reached the rock in shaft. There is no other chamber. That shaft had only one chamber and that chamber is not at bottom of the shaft.

Men working north of this mastaba, in removing the debris which was north of it. In order to expose the lining on north, sand, limestone debris, rubble and stones. Remains of lining on north at west not yet exposed.

G 2443 B: Removed chamber II blocking. It is cut in rock, rubble and mud from the blocking. Body, head on north wrapped in decayed linen, below his head is a stone, left for photo.

G 2443 E: Removed the chamber blocking. It is built of rubble, and only on south with stones and roofed with slabs, stones, rubble and mud from the blocking. Body, loose contracted skeleton with bones broken, head on north (broken), the skeleton perhaps a child, left for photo.

G 2443 F: Removed the chamber blocking. It is built with rubble and roofed with slabs, rubble, and traces of mud from a blocking. Body, tight contracted skeleton, head on north, left for photo.

G 2443 Y: Removed the chamber blocking. It is cut in rock. Only the north jamb with stones and roofed with slabs, rubble and mud from the blocking. Body, head on north, the bones mixed with silt deposited by rain, left for photo.

G 2443 Z: Removed the chamber blocking. It is built of stones but only on west with crude brick in the middle and roofed with slabs, stones, rubble and mud from the blocking, left for photo.

North of that mastaba in exposing the lining on north at west, sand, limestone debris, rubble and red debris. Exposed the lining on that side.
Also north of the northwest corner of the mastaba appeared the lining of a small stone mastaba. Remains of the lining not yet exposed.
